ACADEMIC ALTERNATIVES

College Study
Students may apply to take the professional development program directly at any
participating Community College. Refer to the College's calendar for course
selection and individual College policies with respect to course requirements.
A minimum grade of 65% must be obtained. CIB doe not offer courses. Students are not required to write any other exams.

University Courses
Although most courses in the professional development program are at a Community College level, courses taken at a recognized university are also eligible for credit.

On-line Courses
With busy schedules, it may be difficult to find time to attend classes at your local Community College. On-line credit courses are available and most convenient. They are most helpful when your College does not offer a course you require. You would be able to take it on-line through any other College. This method of study usually requires a great amount of self-discipline.

Foreign Credits
CIB does not have the facility to evaluate foreign transcripts. You should have an evaluation completed by your local Community College.
